TEN TO THIRTY

Good evening, 

Rifle was perfectly positioned zero at a distance 10 mts before this exercise done, at this position I took 3 consecutive attempts (find all 3 impacted near number 5), between 10 and 30 meters 

elevation increased (inclined ) and hit at a difference around 12 cms.

I took 3 shots at a distance 30 meters.

Are you questioning the result? That the shots landed higher at 30 meters than at 10?

It is because the barrel and the scope’s line of sight intersect at 10 meters. At such a short distance, the scope is angled down pretty steeply. Or we could say the barrel is angled upward, in which case the trajectory of the pellets arc upward above the line of sight past 10 meters and land high at 30 meters.

Zero at 28 to 30, and you will find you have only holdover, zero at 30 and you will have approximate 2 mil holdover at 10

You are absolutely right, it took 3 mil hold over to complete the task at 10 mts.
