Ten rats for my Compatto today.

The Compatto has been due for a dairy trip, so off we went. Though my Bantam HR Sniper is deadly, so is the Compatto.The four biggest rats were taken with the red light. Took eleven shots, killed ten rats, missed one, recovered nine bodies for my foxes. While the Bantam beats the Compatto in shot count, for pesting they're equal. The IR recticle on the Aztec Emerald is sweet and the center dot is deadly for pesting. Kills today from 25 to 40 yards, at those ranges I almost, almost feel sorry for the rats. All one shot kills.

Luis! My hero! Great shooting on all those porkers….they look like pigs with long tails! Great pics too! Your Compatto never disappoints! I think Compatto’s are one of the funnest pesting/hunting PCP’s ever, so compact and easy to shoulder and wonderful ballistic stocks with great magazines.

@ranchibi, thanks. The Compatto is a sweet little PCP as you well know. I have fallen for her all over again, a second honeymoon if you will. The Compatto is tired of being in the safe and is demanding more pesting duties. The Bantam HR is going to have to get use to it.

It's a LOT more than that and your modesty is appreciated. Pretty sure I cannot match your totals for hunts but I do have a dairy and it MUST HAVE RATS? Now that I have the ATN 4k Pro the only thing stopping me from night ratting, at a dairy where I might get more than one shot, is my addiction to my backyard rats and hot coffee.

Thanks for always making nice posts that are REAL and inspire the ratters.

@sasquatch, some of them eat well, they are trying to bulk up for winter.

@blackpaw, no night vision, a red light attached to scope, green IR on Aztec Emerald. This combo has proven effective for hundreds of rat kills. Typically the red light is the last thing they see, unless I miss, then I've just educated the rat.
