Ten Dimes VIII w/ the Theoben SLR 98 .22 carbine

After 5 sighters, I shot the ten dimes in uninterrupted succession using H&N FTT's 5.53 straight out the tin. Seated FT position, rig across both knees, 25 yards.

Approaching the target, note the stiff & gusty wind to contend with (whoo-hooo!). 30 second video here:

The center bulls were elusive today. On my very last target (bottom right), shot #3 got away from me and was the only shot to not touch the outer black ring. I made up for it by sending in a 4th shot, this time inside the bull.

Trigger breaking at 1lb 10.7 ounces:

There she is, a Beeman branded Theoben beauty, with a Martin Rutherford made carbon fiber muzzle device (baffled) threaded on.

Were you holding off, waiting out the gusts, or a combination of both?

I held off. From my position it was varied intensity from 1-3 o'clock, but downrange due to structure/slope the wind streams by fast from 3-5 o'clock. Only a couple shots required slight holding to the left- usually during a stall when there's a 'vacuum effect' .
