I think again you’re missing the point. It is the wildcat FOR HIM! but the premise of the video is that you go back to what you love, not just shoot what’s cool at the time. Yes, his wildcat is the title of the video, but you should know to dig deeper than that into the meaning.

Hmmmmmmmmmm? Gun "SHMUN"...Life is all about Fun! IMO!.............How much better a tool do you need Not to Paper Punch but rather shoot off hand or braced by a occasional tree while enjoying a nice walk in the woods with a beautiful stream near by........ all these net platforms are highly capible....Jus' want accurate flat shoot'n high velocity hollow-point slugs.

That is so true ! By the way with the Wildcat compact .22 you can shoot perfectly well hollow point sugs at good velocity. ( that would be for me 940-960 fps from a 500mm barrel like the WC compact has)

Sorry, I just can Not get past the Bad Config. Wildcat or Any like config...... with the Safety on the rear Not Intuitive for ME!....Period!!

This may be the main reason he walked away in the first place. Useless bickering about the videos he puts out that totally ruin the meaning of the video in the first place. Can’t we all just get along??

And now back to having fun with airguns.......
What I got from this video is Ted needed find his airgun passion again. He found it shooting his Wildcat - who cares if it's MkI, II or III - that's the gun he found it with. He never said it was better than any of his other guns, or worse, just the one that gives him airgun passion. I really don't see anything that could be read into the message.

In truth it is all a learning experience....controversy of Any type creates thought good or bad...take away from it what is LEARNED by you.........No Political right & wrong jus' simply Hopefully learned rational comparisons.

Always said the wildcat mk2’s and MK1’s are the most awesome platform FX has produced, for the all around field gun. The pre MK3’s were simplicity at its best. Nice to know Ted believes in the old school simplicity.

Hmm, I don't know Augie, I think the FX 400, 500 and Boss might be the there best. Simple and no fuss, just a pleasure to shoot.

Don't forget the Tarantula, it too is a pleasure to shoot as well. Looking back, the 400 did reign for its time. Come to think about it - they're all great! Sometimes the best just happens to be the one in hand, in the moment!
