Can someone please tell me what male to male cable I need to buy in order to tether my Firefly 8SE to my laptop? I've been sent the incorrect cable twice now. There's an HD OUT and believe I need whatever the name of the cable is that goes to the HD out to go to my laptop. My laptop input options look like the C charger for your cell phone or the rectangle shaped one that you would plug into the box that you plug into the wall to charge your phone. Sorry I am a caveman I do not understand this stuff. Please help me thank you!

You need a mini usb cable. Not micro. Not usb-c. You could also get a micro-SD card reader and just remove the card from the camera. That frequently is faster (data transfer) than using a cable.

Hi thank you guys for taking time to help me with this! I just keep ordering the wrong one because i dont know what the male that goes to the HD out port is called. There are only two outs, there is a small out that says USB which I have used to upload videos. I'm trying to tether it onto the bigger screen of my laptop so I'm able to see the reticle of my scope easier. Screen on camera is way too small. To whoever commented on the card reader I have one of those. If it isn't too much to ask can you please explain to me how to do what you were talking about. Im sorry I really struggle with computer tasks. please and thank you for the advice so far!!!!!!!!

Ahhh, ok I see what you want. The second female jack on the firefly (labeled HD) is a micro hdmi port. That is what you’ll need to stream camera video to your laptop. Your laptop likely has a full size hdmi port (but some very small laptops have micro hdmi ports).
