Airforce Taxen 457 tank question

I bought this used tank for my Texan 457,because I lost mine. The tank is visually in good condition without scratches etc.,but I don't like this blue seal , it does not look original. I am afraid to use this tank, is everything ok with it in your opinion? Thanks.

According to the seller, this is teflon tape.
That kind of sealing tape comes in different colors , me having metal problems 😁 really could not stand blue on a Black gun.. so i would prefer to change it.. I only have found that tape in Black at eBay. Under paintball supply.. but if the bottle is holding pressure there's none bad about it .. and no is not the factory tape..the factory oring that seals that fill port tends to get damaged pretty bad , i imagine that is the reason it has that tape ... i had a few cricket fill probe orings left , that is what I been using , when that seal goes bad .

Blue thread lock is okay. No heat required to remove. But I have seen red permanent loctite used. I have used blue on screws in high vibration locations. Especially back when i had break barrels. I also swap out the Allen hex heads for torx heads. Too easy for hex to strip out under stress. The quality of screws is sometimes less than optimal. Torx are significantly more reliable.
