This is nutsFor 90 days.
I was going to post this long, drawn out post directed at the OP of this thread asking how in god's name they can charge tariff pricing on pre-tariff inventory (example would be the bloated price on the Notos for 1) ...
But as I was about halfway into my post, I realized I was wasting my time by even bothering so I will just show my displeasure with the companies that are basically breaking the law as what could be considered "price gouging" by simply Not doing business with the bandits in the future.....
I think UPS is a day or two behind. They instituted the tariff regime and now they have to rescind it. They also have to wait on guidance from their legal department with regard to which tariffs are still applicable. This is nuts

Apparently the import duties are correct and valid.I think UPS is a day or two behind. They instituted the tariff regime and now they have to rescind it. They also have to wait on guidance from their legal department with regard to which tariffs are still applicable.
YesI correct in my understanding that new tariffs were to be in addition to tariffs already in place?
Nope. We are supposed to stop buying their stuff which will definitely happen. Everyone pays for sure. Seems that guy could get that amount adjusted seeing the tariff is now 30% for 90 days right ?Insane… but, China is supposed to be paying the tariffs! Right? Right???
Yup!
I understand, we're just told otherwise and think everyone is dumb enough to believe it.No ! The US importer is paying the tariff and will add the increased expense to the end price, so the US consumer will end up paying the higher price including the tariff![]()

Maybe I didn’t make the sarcasm in my comment obvious enoughNo ! The US importer is paying the tariff and will add the increased expense to the end price, so the US consumer will end up paying the higher price including the tariff![]()
I’m definitely not ordering anything that doesn’t ship from within the U.S. for awhile for sure.Maybe I didn’t make the sarcasm in my comment obvious enoughthe sad part is that some people don’t (want to) see that you guys are of course right…
I think there’s somewhat clear guidance from customs that decreases tariffs don’t apply to stuff imported prior to the decrease. So he’d have to decline deliver and reorder to benefit from the lower tariffs… and probably at least cover the additional shipping back and forth.

Huma is still safe to order from, I got 3 regs from them 1.5 weeks ago, it arrived in 4 days with no issues or extra cost.I’m definitely not ordering anything that doesn’t ship from within the U.S. for awhile for sure.
Given that the p35x cost the member and smidge over $600, those old import duty fees are out the window. I can only assume this only applies to Chinese merch though. So if you get an AGT, these extra tariffs may not apply.I keep hearing that the big tariffs will be on items $800 and higher. Maybe that's just media BS.. who knows.
The $800 de minimis exclusion from Customs duties was eliminated in one of the recent actions (for products originating from PRC & Hong Kong). Note the term 'originating', not 'shipping from' as one AGN member recently learned the hard way.I keep hearing that the big tariffs will be on items $800 and higher.
