Target Stand

I got bored and so I made a target stand so the wife and I can plink with the .177.



First, I got an old halogen light stand...

Then, I got a white box and put a 2x5 in it as a pellet back stop (that short piece is for hardware protection)...

Then, I screwed in a PVC coupler to the back, and hung it on the stand...

I stood the scrap 2x5 to protect the plastic hardware in the event of an extreme miss, and then attached some target decals. The plan is to tape scrap 8.5x11 print paper to renew the white background of the box...

Ready for plinking...

I like the idea that your target stand doesn't look like a target stand. If someone happen to look at it from a distance, it would look like a post or a PVC sticking out of the ground. My first thought would be either a PVC pipe for a septic tank or a leach line

With such target stand you could drill that stand and place a horizontal rod and hang spinning targets for some reactive target shooting, sometimes we need a little more reward when shooting. This is providing you have a safe place in doing so. Just an idea for you.
