Here is a target stand I made. It has two bags of rubber mulch in it with a steel backing plate. Had some pellets go through my first one with just one bag of mulch. I think this should hold them pellets back.

It's mostly made out of some old 2x4's I had sitting around. The base is made with some white oak scrap pcs. and the wheels are from Harbor Freight with some 1/2" bolts. Works pretty good for very little cost.
