Looks like the coming rabbit season could be productive-looks like a peak year. Right now I just enjoy watching them, season opens in July.

Wow. The only place i see that many rabbits at once is on the side of the parkways at dusk. Good for you. Im jealous.

OUR rabbit season is year long in Arizona. The rabbits and squirrels our getting over populated here. sending my gun back today to get replaced. The barrel bolt kept coming lose. The great horned owls were out this morning hope they can keep them under control?

John I have seen the same rabbit boom down here in San Bernardino, Riverside, and San Diego county. Should be good.

Mean while in Northern Lower Michigan the crickets are chipping, waiting for our rabbits to come back from a low spot in their cycle..........twenty plus years now.

Probably four or five years back they were scarce and very wary. We had some rain ease our drought a bit which seemed to stimulate the rabbit and ground squirrel breeding and both populations have increased a bit. I blame ground squirrels for triggering my latent airgun obsession back to the active phase!

Yes Great Horned owls will feast on them. We’ve got them here and rabbit population is totally under control.

Down here in SC we have rabbits but a bunch, cause the cyoto's keep them under control. Lots of gray squirrels but there is a season on all small game from Nov to Mar.

I have coyotes, bobcats and horned owls along with a lot of rabbits and quail-time to thaw out some of last season's rabbit for tomorrow's dinner...
