I'm not sure where this post belongs, so I'll just leave it here. I wanted share the target stand/bait stand that I built. So far it's worked great for target practice. I haven't been able to stay up late enough to scope rats. It has a solar powered motion activated light, a motion activated alarm (aka ding-donger) a Beys Silent Backstop, a walk way, and a trough for food. Total build time: about 30 min. I got the idea for the stand from Plinker, but I couldn't figure out how to make a backstop that wouldn't wake up the neighbourhood. Ibey26's Silent Back Stop was the perfect solution. It's portable too so I have even taken it out into the field for longer range practice.
