I've been using my old bow target for a safe backstop for about 6 months it finally got to the point where it had enough,so I got to looking around my shop and put this together 3 layers of woven rubber each layer app.1/2 inch thick bolted to a 3×4 ft box about 8 inches deep filled with rubber mulch,it makes a helluva thud but it doesn't bother my neighbors at all ,after the 1st layer gets worn out just backout the screws replace and should last forever.
