TANK VALVE CONNECTIONS Question

Hello members

I am having difficulty figuring out which fitting (or fittings) are needed to connect to the valve on my Scott 45 minute tank
(see photo)
The O.D on the male output nipple is 0.826" as measured with $16.99 Amazon digital calipers.
The nipple is .690 inches long and has 9 threads

I'd like to connect a QD hose and a bleed screw (or button)

I've got both the one from eBay and the one from Amazon. The one from eBay has a much thinner hose that doesn't bleed the air or fill the gun very fast. I've also had problems with the eBay female foster not fitting some of my male fosters. I've had very few problems with the one from Amazon and I've had it 4 3+ years. They both leaked when I received them but were easy to seal.

i have 2 of them,
the thin hose is a microbore hose,
and greatly prefered over standard fat hoses.

it wastes less air when you bleed,
but ive never noticed it fill or bleed slower.

shouldnt be filling fast anyway lol

I understand about not filling fast as that's what I do but on a couple of my rifles if I don't release the pressure fast the check valve won't seal. My Sumatra in particular will empty the tank if release pressure slowly.

yes,exactly.
the bleed is meant to be opened fast to allow the check to seal well.

and like you noted,
some are worse than others.

ive had a few that could be bled to empty by barely cracking the bleed and holding it there,
and ive had a few that wouldn't do it no matter how slow i went.

so always bleeding fast alleviates those problems......usually lol :)
