Are y'all banging those bottles around like a half blind granny on crack with a shopping trolley???

The outmost @3mm~0.11" is pure resin and glassfiber to protect the CF layer.

Bang that s4!7 around 24/7 and it will never be a problem in real life!

But the again maybe reduce your fill pressure to 1000psi just to on the safe side also?

People protect their tanks from scuffing for the same reason they don't bang their stocks around on their PCPs. It just looks better and helps with resale value not to beat the crap out of your equipment. Most used fireman's tanks found on Ebay look like they've been through the wars because they have!

With that being said, a full PVC pipe sleeve is a bit bulky compared to many of the home brew tank protection set ups frequently posted on this forum. Whatever works for an individual is fine with me. It beats getting pressured to add on a few highly marked up accessories with a tank purchase.
