Tank leaking

My tank is leaking between the valve and the carbon fiber tank. I have replaced the o ring and still leaking. Any other ideas to get it to stop?

I suspect the O-ring you used did not seal correctly. Pull things apart and clean both connecting pieces - checking for burrs, a cracked or roughed O-ring and anything that could cause even a minor obstruction and then reassemble. This time use just enough silicone grease to moisten the O-ring. Hopefully all will go well.

Clean them both well, maybe a super light coating of dive silicone. If the oring isn't knicked, it's not seating properly. It's not ideal but I've siliconed the oring journals and oring and flash filled tanks that did this with a larger tank to a few hundred pounds to force the oring to seat.

Over size cross section orings if not completely captured by the valve stem skirt and the tank neck tend to extrude and leak in a much more energetic way.

This is all stuff I've done over the decades with paintball cylinders and eol scbas, just be careful, don't create a diesel hazard either.
