I have a AEA HP Varminter and I hadn’t shot it in a while and when I shot it, it emptied the whole air tank. Any ideas what caused that?

Likely the poppet gave way, if it won't take air from empty that is a large indicator.

Agree with Matt here. Had the same issue with my AEA. You might want to look into upgrading to so-called "Enhanced Main Valve Pin", check out eBay. One sec, here's the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/256523570804. But I'm not sure if this "Enhanced" valve would work on your Varminter, better ask the seller.
