Tank Boot what size ?

I use a sabor tactical bag, I think your bottle will fit just fine.
We did a video on the Amazon tanks here. From the measurements I remember and what sabor is saying will fit in their bag. You’ll be perfect.

Buy the tank armor kit from Joe Brancato. You will be better off than trying to piecemeal something together from Amazon.

Or wait for SA to sell their new tank bag:

Thankyou for your time, I bought a great white from him years ago but his attitude is something else, not again. Will look at that bag thanks.

Thankyou for your time also, will check it out tonight. My main reason is to have it protected when I have the dive shop fill it. Some of those guys are kind of reckless.

Thank you, know to figure out how to disable it lol
Button up top🤪🤙

I use this in the 7-7.24" size boot for my 98cf tank and it's slightly too big untill I put on the tank mesh protector. Then it's a snug fit.
They offer smaller sizes. Take a measuring tape and measure the diameter of your tank and order accordingly.
I'll put a link for booth the boots and mesh below.
Boot: https://www.amazon.com/Faber-Blue-Steel-Boots-Tanks/dp/B00SKJ96CQ?th=1
Mesh: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010LAPMNS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
If you get the mesh, you will have to trim it to correct length with some scissors. Easy.
And if you want the carry handle: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TGPD66/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
And if you want the little feet so that you can lay it on it's side without rolling: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KAIH2OE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If you order all parts, your over 90 bucks in for about 10 bucks worth of Chinese plastic and straps. Well built, and good quality though. One benefit from Amazon, with prime you get free shipping. Or, order kit from Joe (basically same price) and it all comes in one box.
I chipped away from Amazon. Ordered boot and Mesh, then a few weeks later the handle and feet.

Leadhead I took a chance and ordered a boot and mesh yesterday, two hrs. after that my tank came (sooner than expected) looks like I should be ok when I measured the tank. Should be here by wed. total was $41.75 after tax already have the handle and a DIY cradle now looking a bags lol, also have a 98 cu. ft. tank Thanks !

If lazy like me look at the budget wheeled boot ..

When i was diving we made ones with handles . I used a suitcase frame with wheels and the retractable handle that held 2 aluminum 80's and cheap harbor freight handtruck tires .. worked great for shore dives or long dock walks to the boat.

Kinda looked like this for example but just for 2 tanks

Hi @kayaker - I have the same tank inbound. Can you share which boot you bought and whether it fit (or measurements)? Thanks
Erdb I got my stuff off of Amazon (cheapish that I could find) also not to much too chose from on the web. You could go to airtanks4sale but will pay thru your nose. Look at GA_LEADHEAD's post above my last post as I do not know how to post links. I got the same mesh, came in black and slides over easy (check my pictures). The tank boot was the Faber but you will need (6.7"-6.9") size. The 5" will be too small and the 7-7.24 will be way to large. As a matter of fact the 6.7-6.9 is a little to large but this is what I did to make a good fit.
I put 1 wrap of close foam (from hobby lobby) it's about 3/32" thick around the bottle mesh, think I could of went with two

the bottom line of tape is to hold the mesh tight onto the bottle, next one above to make the boot fit tight, it took a few wraps of 1" wide gorilla tape to accomplish it.

then the top mesh at the neck I used a tie wrap too the neck of the bottle

final results of the boot:

Hope this helps, I don't remember what the tank measured, some where around 6 3/8" to 6 5/8" but the 6.7-6.9" will work just fine. Sorry I did not follow up with this post just forgot. Good luck

Thanks - it does help. I just ordered so it will arrive about the same time as the inbound tank.

Now to figure out what I want to do to fill it. I have a scuba shop close by that will fill to 4600 but I don't see that as a long term option.
