Just got a bunch of boxes from USPS and FedEx today, which made it feel like Christmas. I did happen to have a birthday at the end of last month though. Anyway, I just finished my Associate's degree today and bought a new airgun as a reward to celebrate this milestone on the way to my Bachelor's.
I know to many here airguns like the Airforce TalonP don't get much notice, but it fits my requirements without spending as much as I did on my Bobcat or Streamline, which eventually were sold.
I configured it as a carbine and have put a Ronin on it to keep her quiet. I have barely had the chance to assemble everything and get her changed up today, but was able to get a few shots to get her sighted in with the Hawke varmint I took off my Mrod. I have to say that I love this little compact package, which only measures 26 1/4". I plan on putting a different scope and was considering the Aztec emerald 3-18x50 with some high offset rings. Any other ideas that may be a better choice for this setup? I plan on about the $400 range area while keeping it somewhat compact( no more than 13.5").
I am looking forward to getting familiar with her this weekend, and maybe getting a Groundhog of two if time allows.
