Talon Tunes Condor Anti-Slap mod ? Your Experience ?

So I just put in a talon tunes anti-slap mod on my .25 condor. I do have a few questions.... No Testing yet but my initial impressions are that it does not have a metal on metal clank sound but more of a ping sound ??? It is hard to describe.

Putting it to my shoulder and pulling the trigger the original condor would kind of give a chu-chink... I could feel a bit of double recoil like shooting a springer rifle where you pull the trigger and the action releases hits the value which is one recoil then the valve opens and fires and that is the second recoil.

NOW... The first action of pulling the trigger feels very tame cant feel the trigger recoil at all but after the rifle fires there is a long hum and ping sound not really bad but definelty a longer ping than the original rifle. The orignal rifle was a 2 stage chu chink... and no hum.....
What are your results if you have done this mod ?

I didn’t really notice much of an effect. Be aware that that O-ring on the end will come loose eventually and muck things up in there. Mine detached pretty quickly. Not difficult to glue it back.

ahh are you talking about the orings on the anti slape device or somewhere else ? I think I might of seen some on the anti-slap device but not sure if it was one piece.

Also so you are saying that overall the anit-slap device did not do all that much ?

I am also curious as I currently have two in my cart waiting to complete the order.

On the end of the hammer is a little groove into which an O ring has been glued. This is what softens the sound of the hammer strike. That O-ring detached on mine. Not a big deal just be aware and crazy glue it back on when it comes loose.

Also, my slap mod hammers were about 10 g lighter than specified. 83 g instead of 95 g. Only an issue if you are trying to open a valve at higher fill pressure
