Talon SS troubles

I have had a Talon SS a couple months with 100 shots through it. Initially the tophat came loose with few shots and Ingot that resolves. Blue loctite fix.

Now I see the tophat is secured but the piece of the “valve” is turning as I shoot. It’s rotating with the tophat in the tank every 15 or so shots. Just slowly moving clockwise little by little. Any experience with this problem. I dread another interaction with Lea who answers Airforce’s phone line. I’ve never experienced such poor reaponses from a customer service representative. Any help or advice with regard to the entire valve turning is appreciated.

I don't know about Lea, but I have dealt with Rachel over many years now and she is always very patient, friendly and helpful. Her extension is 105. I would try her.

Just call AF and have them send you a new Tophat or do what I did with my condor ss and bought a talons tunes one piece but I'm not sure if he makes them for talon ss

Now when you said a piece of the valve I assume you meant the valve stem, which the tophat is screwed onto. If so, it is normal for it to turn as you shoot.

Ok that’s what I needed to know! Thanks all for the replies. I’m shocked how accurate this little Talon SS is shooting. 21.14 gr Baracuda match shoots 1” at 75 yards. Great gun.

Just got a condor ,only had it a week and now the cocking mec,won’t go all the way back .tired of sending it back can anybody help me with a fix

Could you please be more specific. When you say the cocking mechanism won't go all the way back do you mean that it won't lock in place as in you cannot tilt the knob to either side? If so, check that the tophat hasn't worked loose and crept forward (or upwards) because if it did then it likely closed the clearance gap in order for the knob to be set to either the left or right side.
