Talon SS Owners,
Here is what I've found in testing so far. Crosman .22 14.3g pellets. 25 Yrds. 90 degrees very light breeze. Filled to 3000 psi and shot down to 2700 psi for test.
Caldwel Chrony: 10 shot runs, Power wheel set at 6,
Psi 2700. Avg 814 High 824/low 796.
Psi 2625 811 High 819/Low 801.
Psi 2550 833 High 854/Low 807. (Total Avg High & Low 40.4 FPS)
Psi 2425 800 High 846/Low 786.
Psi 2375 803 High 831/Low 782.
*Total 50 shot Avg=812 FPS. *Not testing accuracy until after FPS test. Starting Accuracy shots at 2250 Psi, Fell off at about 2100 psi.
Installed Altaros Regulator from Talon Tunes. Set at 100 BAR. *Instructions; Only fill with Altaros valve.**Talon Gage would only go to 2100 Psi While Compressor showed 3000 Psi ???? For settling I shot it down to 1800 Psi. Regulator BAR read 150 BAR ??

BAR 148 PW 4 661 High 667/Low 655.
BAR 125 PW 6 662 High 671/Low 656. (Total Avg High & Low 11.8 Fps)
BAR 115 PW 8 661 High 668/Low 653.
BAR 105 PW 10 660 High 663/Low 657
*Total 50 shot Avg=661 FPS ** Power Wheel had no effect on FPS.
Questions: Altaros Regulator set at 100 BAR Why does it start at 150 BAR and slowly descend? Without Regulator Compressor and Talon gages agree, With regulator installed Talon gage only 2100 psi and compressor 3000 psi? Altaros did respond to query but said only use Altaros fill pin and possibly O-Ring size difference? Altaros on vacation til Aug 2nd.
