I was looking at Mad Dog stocks and there was a new one called the Ranger. Ordered it from them and it sure makes the handling of the rifle so much more comfortable. Thanks Doug you do great work. Here it is wearing the new stock.

thats the pinnacle of english engineering from the 1980s, i think they used them in some B rated sci fi movies recently as laser weapons or similar, need to find a link

Nice, I like that stock and it sure changes the looks of the Talon for sure, I have two MadDog stocks and they make such a big difference in the shouldering and handling of the Texan, can’t imagine how your Talon feels now. Congrats!

This one on the talon is a little butt heavy, but then it was designed more for the Texan. This was the first non Texan he has sold. One nice thing about more weight at the back end it balances out the bipod when its installed. It is much more stable when shooting offhand with the bipod on.

I have an Ultima stock on a Condor SS, which is a relly nice stock, but this one is a little bit more comfortable in the grip area as I can have a thumb up grip like on an Anschutz.

I have a mad dog stock for my Mrod. Love the thing. Heh. I put waaayyy to much into my Marauder. To the point where I could of just got something high end ( which I ended up doing anyway ).

Nothing wrong with the Mrod. I bet the mad dog stock really made it comfortable. Doug makes great stocks
