Talon P the quest for more

1st post so bare with me. I had bought this as my first pcp probably close to 6yrs ago and was blown away with how accurate it was. So over time and no telling how many pellets, I had a few hiccups here and there. The adjustable tophat had it's share of issues-resolved with Talon Tunes tophat, also got the hammer, and spring and with enough tinkering I got things back to a smooth bell curve, but my groups were not like it was when it was new. I removed my barrel this past weekend and discovered just how nasty my barrel was. I pushed a pellet through before I started, then started cleaning it. I had read some posts about polishing I figured while I was here I couldn't do no harm-or could I.... Also pushed a pellet through after. Results were very pleasing. I shot it quickly one evening at maybe 25yds 1shot for a aim point then a 5 shot group was low and left I adjusted it then yesterday evening I went to 100yd 3, 5 shot groups so the shot count after cleaning is 21. Best I could ever do before has been 2" with most the time 2½". I do understand that this is not the gun to try to take to 100yd but the challenge is definitely fun! The before target is the AGN target with 2 5 shot groups

I was really happy with that for a unregulated gun with just a 12" barrel! LongGunDallas I haven't really thought about the power but definitely makes sense! I had a small opportunity this evening to try again and I fouled just about every group. Best today landed 4 in 1½" but I got excited and sent #5 in foul ball territory.

I need to get the chronograph out this weekend and check it. Our schedule is crazy busy and a lot of this is just not having time to be a consistent shooter. We all read about a lot of these guys on here making some crazy shots/groups and they do it regularly, which is awesome but you can't expect it without practice.
