Talon P most accurate ammo ?

Any tips on ammo that runs well with a stock Talon P. From what I have seen the .25 jsb exacts and the predator GO 16 grains work well. I have tried the FX .25 cal hybrid slugs ok groups at 25 yards. The Jsb KO slugs were slightly worse and a few nielson slugs that were horrible

Curious on your settings, shot count and grouping all is negotiable as a setup just want accuracy first, shot count then Power....

33gr pellets on low power worked great for me

Early version love jsd 25.4 and the 33's. R&L shroud to quite the bark. Still have a few rat snipers that is devastating on small game.

I had my Chrono out today, so I got out the TalonP and did this string.

I had about 2800psi and usually only fill to 2600, so the pressure was fighting the hammer spring a bit for the first 4 shots, then it started settling in.
I was shooting JSB King Heavy 33.95 gr and this is my hammer spring setting.

Got my power wheel near highest power setting shooting the 33 gr JSBs, haven’t chronied yet but puts the smack down on some steel, should be devastating for nuisance control around the farm. Only shot it a couple of times so far, good accuracy 30-50 yds. Will bring chronograph next time out and tweak the power wheel. From what I remember with previous models, the power wheel doesn’t change fps too much from top to bottom settings?

Just got back into the AF platform with anew TalonP, AF had a sale before Christmas and I couldn’t pass it up, shipped for $480. Had several AF guns early on, sold them all including a TalonP. Regretting letting that one go, decided to build another, no tuning mods yet, put on a bigger bottle (more than doubles shot count) and Maddog stock and different cocking bolt handle saved from an old AF model. Keeping it quiet at the moment with Ronin.
It’s definitely not as short anymore, but have the option to go shorter if desired. Gonna shoot it for awhile before I think about anymore mods.
