Taller Yong Heng legs or rubber risers

I'm putting together an easily movable solution for my Yong Heng. In order for me to inspect oil levels and prevent the power cable from rubbing, I put wooden risers under the compressor. This works well enough, but I'd like something made from rubber for more dampening. The problem is that tolerances are tight. The compressor is millimeters away from bumping against the surface above it, and I can't go lower due to the aforementioned oil level window and power cable. Any of the risers I've found are either too tall or too short. IIRC, I need something in the 0.75" range. Another option is to replace the legs entirely.

Has anyone tried something like this?

Like your moveable design, however, think I'd go for more substantial legs. Even with rubber risers or a thick foam mat, I'm sure a YH would eventually vibrate that cart to pieces. Also, consider replacing any particle board with plywood, 3/4 inch, if possible. Best of Luck, WM

How about suspending a metal plate. Drill holes in it so you can mount the YH using the foot screw holes. Paracord and a spring, short bungees, tarp straps, etc. can be used to suspend it mounted to the plate.

Drill a hole in the cross bar where the sight glass is for the oil level. Should not effect the strength of the cart.
I also think the longer the legs you put on the compressor the more it will amplify the vibration.

Neoprene bung plugs at your local hardware store. Cut, drill and sand to your desired shape.

A little more thought on bung plugs. I would use a bottle cork or test tube size cut down to replace the stock feet. The taper will act as a mechanical diode reducing vibration. This will be even better if you put a fastener through your new foot, chuck it in a drill and radius edge of the bottom with sand paper to reduce the contact area.
