Nice to see! Thanks for sharing!

I'm also lucky to have all kinds of critters on the property. Same problem with deer in the shooting lanes.

Was working in the garage this morning and had the feeling I was being watched, turned out that it was the local doe curious about what I was doing.

Here's "Molly" bedded down on the front lawn.

Cheers!

Two families of raccoons attacking the birdfeeders in the early evening.
We have been putting some cheap dog food out for them every evening. Probably two families of young coming right now, They get so crowded around our feeder it is hard to count but I think the last couple of nights 12 give or take a couple. they are right outside our back door and my wife likes to watch them, rather comical. They do occasionally knock over a bird feeder, but no problem and they never bother anything else.

They are everywhere here. Have to fence everything in that has to do with landscape decor or it’s eaten. Super annoying and they paw the snow up in winter to get to the grass and pummel my lawn. To the point I want to basically take them all out but they are so tame , no challenge and could maybe use meat from one per year so we deal with it.

Back to the raccoons. We had a brief thunderstorm this evening. I was going to go out and check the raingauge, and when I opened the door, and looked out the storm door momma coon runs up and looks in at me. Three of her babies who are getting larger started running up looking for food, so I got a bowlful and took it out for them. I had no sooner turned my back that they were going at it.
