This one was in my garage and since I never use it I lost track of it until yesterday that I was moving stuff around and had a look at it.

This one is going to take some time to get it back.

I have brought back to life worse than that. Time to take it apart and do each piece seperate. Ballistol and 4x steel wool will clean it up pretty good.

I can vouch for the electrolysis bath. Works like a charm, particularly when dealing with heavy rust and pitting. However if it’s just surface rust, I would do the steel wool thing.

An old computer power supply is what I use for the 12V source.

That is what I normaly do, 0000 steel wool and Ballistol

You should run some pellets thru it and see how it does! If it still shoots, leave it as is so you won't care if it gets dirty!

Salt and humidity is no joke.
I agree with the Ballistol and 0000 steel wool comments. Ballistol down the barrel too with a good cleaning.
And a set of new o-rings if that gun has them.
Might not look perfect but I bet it works just fine some love.

Maybe stick it in a bag with a Ballistol soaked rag wrapped around it to slow the process at least?

Oh Manny, I feel for you. Please, please try a “Golden Rod” in a job box. The job boxes of today do not feature a seal. I have made my own seals for them & utilizing a job box is golden in said environment with a “Golden Rod” no pun intended. This one, that is in need of attention, could one day be one of your children's. Save her!
