Take a guess on the amount of drop

Im testing my Gamo Hornet Maxxim at 75 yards tomorrow. I shoot an H and N Sport Terminator Holliw Point .22 cal pellet, pictured below.

Im zeroed in at 30 yards (3/8 grouping) and Im also dead on at 40 yards as my second zero. These pellets are 16.36 gr.

How low in inches are you guessing I will be at 75 yards, with its current zero?

I will follow up with my results, tomorrow ...

Thanks for your guesses.

You are on at 30 AND 40 ?

That being true, your drop at 75yds should only be 3.91" to 4.11".

But I think our data is corrupt here. 😎

Well plugging the #'s in chair gun I get the following.

Pellet weight 16.36

BC .020

Speed - 700fps (based on PA estimate of 17.8fpe for this gun)

Scope height 5.66" (Had to use this to get 30 and 40yds zero)

This will result in a 75yd drop of 9.86"

Possible to have 5.66" scope height? Sure. Probable? Not

Anyway based on the above data my prediction is 9.86"

The near zero at 30 is the part that throws me off.

In order to have a near zero at 30 and a far zero at 40, with a muzzle velocity of less than 1100, your scope would have to be damn near 10" over the barrel I'd think.

And surely it's not !

IT's actually 5.66"

Here are the #'s from chairgun:
