Taipan veteran power tune.

Thank you grimm, I didnt clean the barrel as good as I should have. It is shooting good but I am not reaching the 62 ft pound advertised power. I guess cleaning and breaking it in will make it closer tho what I want. I was thinking maybe Ernest could do his magic and get a lot more power while maintaining accuracy. Butt what it is now is a hunter for sure.

Shoot HEAVIER projectiles ... unless your gun flats lines due to a lack of sufficient pressure the power generally increases with pellet weight.

Tho said ... ACCURACY trumps power every time IMO

I think the Vets come pretty good to go out of the box, but.... I would give Charlie at GA Airguns a call. He does work on them & may be able to answer your questions. He won’t up sale you anything you don’t need.

I can tell you I was at his shop one day, and I saw a small target he keeps from a Vet, single hole at like 40 yards or something like that.

My regulator was set at 152 bar. Ernest has a video on how to adjust the regulator. But take his advice and mine don't touch it if you don't have regulator tester. I tried adjusting mine without a tester and it was a pain. I wont do that again. Their is no markings on the regulator to tell you what you are adjusting it to. I have had my gun apart to many times. It is a rabbit hole you do not want to go down if you don't have a tester.
