OK. I just removed the grub. The collar started sliding out almost on it’s own. So, maybe yours is stuck a bit. Perhaps some grease and a little wiggle?

Thanks for the effort.
Something is up with mine though. I removed the grub screw and it chunks against, what I assume is the gauge.
Guess I'll just lave it for now and address it if I ever get a leak in that area.
Now I have a question on how I fix a leak in my Mutant and where to look for a faulty seal.
When I try to put air in my rifle it immediately leaks out to 0-psi from the allen screw in the bottom by the trigger assembly (item#87 in the exploded view).

Now you will need input from other folks. My knowledge is limited. Perhaps a new thread asking for specific help on that. There’s a few guys here that know how to rebuild them. Even Ernest will chime in from time to time.

May have found it.
I replaced a dried up seal (item#97 on the exploded view) on the assembly that houses the trigger assembly and it doesn't leak out immediately.
I've put 100 bar in ir and I'll monitor it to see if I need to dig further.
