Yep I figured you would need it in hand. Not inclined to trust the post office or shipping company right now. Had parts coming from pyramidair that was supposed to come to Texas. But went to
Phoenix now us head back to Ohio.

The Veteran mag looks really good! I have a Mutant in .22 which is also 12 shot. Would be interested in a few if you ever started printing them for sale.

I read that slugs fall out of the mag but I have no firsthand experience. I wonder if you made a second oring slot in the mag that it would help in holding slugs. Then removing the oring for pellets. Just an idea and not sure how many are using slugs anyway so maybe not worth your trouble.

Can you give me an accurate OD (in mm) of the magazine, as well as the thickness of the main section and the raised section of the indexer? You'd need a caliper to measure it. I think I can extrapolate the Veteran mag and get close.

Man, there is serious demand for out-of-production Taipan MUTANT mags. If you have these at production level I would love a few and they will sell like hotcakes.

I need to work on those, as I don't have access to an original or own a gun. I'm going to print a couple protoypes this week to send out to a member for testing. I will keep you updated!

The mutant mags have very thin walls. I’ll continue working on those. I printed a large batch of Veteran 22 mags in PLA + and have a batch in ASA printing. The ASA test pieces work just as well, and should be very durable.

Personally, I think Taipan switch from 12 shot to 10 shot mags for the reason you stated. I dropped one from waist high in the garage and bent one of the positions. Haven't got it back to just right yet.

Is anyone interested in the .stl for the Taipan Veteran .22 magazine? I have printed a lot for members here, and have the design dialed in so that it's very reliable.
