Taipan Veteran Mag, Cheek Rest and Probe Holder

I ordered up a mag holder, Cheek Rest, and Probe Holder from Eric (Papy_Yosh) and they just came in the mail. All I can say is THANK YOU !!!!!! I attached a few photos to show you how well made these items are. You can attach the probe holder I got anywhere on the barrel, but I liked it right under my scope. I also bought a small rubber for the end of the probe to keep it clean. The white rubber tip was bought at Ace Hardware for .23 cents.

Thanks again Eric for the great job!!!

Thank you Tony. It was great dealing with you too. I am so glad you enjoy them and that they are working for you.

+1

Awesome pieces of work, great guy to deal with.

Thank you Terry, Glad I could help. Great dealing with you too.

That cheek piece looks awesome not sayin the other part dont but hotdang it looks good and a great improvement for that type of rifle great work Eric

Thanks, I do like the cheek piece too. But, my favorite is the Long one that covers the all side of the breech block. I shoot mine in the 10F and above, no more cold cheeks or cold burn marks, I love it.

What the Veteran really could use is a biathlon type knob that would fit on the Veteran cocking lever. It would need to be slightly offset, so the cocking lever would be able to close...it fits quite close to the frame. How about it Eric??? Can you come up with a 3D knob that we could push on/glue in place, so our cocking levers would have a nice knob hanging down to make it easier for us to grab ahold of it???
