Hi friends again,
For Taipan Veteran Long .25:

1. Has someone with Taipan .25 tested the lead-free pellets? I think they are too too light ?!

2. Which pellets are you satisfied with as 100 yards accuracy:
1. JSB Diabolo Exact King cal .25 25.39 gr;
2. JSB Diabolo Exact King Heavy .25 33.95 gr;
3. JSB Diabolo Exact King Heavy .25 MK2 33.95 gr.

...and 4. Slugs?

3. LW polygonal for Taipan Veteran Long .25?

3. Has anyone tried to make a gun belt at one point as Aaron made his rifles in his YouTube videos? Does anybody use a belt of the Taipan Veteran at all?

i agree the lead free pellets would be too light at 100 yards. i would choose setting HST to 55 FPE and send the 34g JSB. i had poor luck with slugs , but i was too low on my power setting. they could work. i don't know about the polygonal barrel at all.

Lead free pellets suck

all three of the JSB shoot great. The heavies won’t have as flat of trajectory as the kings.

dont know anything about a belt.

SvilenP, do you mean a sling? If so I don't have one on my Veteran Shorty but I do have one on my .25 Cricket. I just drilled my stock and put sling swivel studs on it. You can take the sling on and off and can also mount a bipod on the front stud if you want to.

Thanks for the answers. I got from the lead-free pellets of JSB. I bought them before the rifle and they probably will not do the job ... but for my statistics I will try them.

Belt at one point of stock on the rifle? Later I think I should try.

Any tips for pellets of other brands you're happy with? H&N, RWS, Samyang, FX or others?

Naturally, I know that JSB is best but I still have no experience with Taipan Veteran (.25) unlike you.

Something else - has anyone tried to drill holes in the gun shuffle (venting) like Hadjimoto doing on his Evanix?

Also, do you think there is a need to make a barrel crowning (LW)?
