Taipan veteran huma install help

It seems that there are different internal sizes of the Taipan Veteran.

I own a Taipan Veteran std and bought a Huma 38mm plenum reg kit, had no problem installing.

The Taipan regulator is a very good regulator, but one needs a regulator tester for exact adjustment.

When tinkering it saves a lot of costs and work when there is a scale on the reg.

The huma is also smaller in size so there is more space for the main tank and/or the plenum.

I quess Huma wanted to use the maximum of plenum size possible, I would.

I've heard that there are 34MM plenum tube's on there way to Talon tunes

and Huma will only use the 34MM in the future.

To make things clear:

Hope it helps,

New spacer came. The height is now identical. Interesting fact, stock overall length (and now new huma length) is about 1-2mm short. I can tell because i can hear it move back and forth when i tilt the gun. However, this is NOT an issue because when i pressurized the cylinder, it pushed the regulator backwards and sits on the spacer, no longer on the lip inside the cylinder. The net effect is the chamber becomes 1-2mm longer and the plenum 1-2mm shorter. everything went back together nicely. Will start testing tonight or tomorrow.
