Taipan Veteran Help

I installed(or tried to) a HUMA regulator in my Taipan Veteran Long but discovered after everything was together that it doesn't hold air. There is a small pin hole in the air tube about 3 inches from the trigger housing that air leaks from whenever I try to pump it up. Is this hole supposed to be here? Do I need a new air tube? Thanks

Pin hole is supposed to be in the tube, regulator vent hole.

Fell into this myself back in the day. the regs O rings have to be where the pinhole is between the 2 o rings or gun leaks.

How do you fix a spacer that is too short?

I ended up putting 3 o-rings in to space it correctly and it’s been working well so far…

Seems like Huma should provide a spacer that allows proper venting of their regulator.
