Taipan Veteran Compact - tuning advice?

Hi, I searched but did not find a thread...seems strange.

2 Question for the experts on a Compact Taipan Veteran .25:



1) what is max FPS I should expect with 34gr pellets? I turned hammer spring to max today and it seemed that 780s was the highest FPS I could get.


2) Is there a recommended FPS that works best for accuracy with 34gr pellets and the CZ barrel?

Pretty sure all .25s (including the Compact) only came with the LW bbl. Only .22 had the CZ. All the receivers are marked CZ, though. Could be wrong.

With the Compact you might be happier with the ~25gr pellets. You could probably reach the 870-890fps pretty easily...even with the 13.7" bbl.

That gun was not designed to shoot 34g .. the same way my .22 cricket standard was not designed to shoot 25g redesigned...I don say is not possible a talon p will give you better numbers with only 12 " of barrel...but it will take to much of machining this n grinding that .. when you finish you se that if 34 was the pellet you want to shoot..you better doit with another more powerful gun ... like a taipan long with a plenum..

i think the only taipan that still using CZ barrel is the .22 compact!
