Taipan Veteran Cocking Adjustment

I had this issue with my Veteran, and the fix was in the trigger adjustment. I slightly adjusted one or both of the tensioner screws in the rear. There is one for the sear and one for linkage. These are the ones that you are instructed not to adjust, so do as you are comfortable, but this cured the occasional cocking problem for me. Just use small adjustments and remember them.

REMOVE the cover over the trigger mechanics ... TAKE A LOOK INSIDE on what is moving and making contact etc.
You will find /see the linkage controling the intermediate link that lifts the sear into battery.
Once you see it all, you will grasp all the adjustments it offers.
Saved this picture for just such an occasion.
