Taipan Veteran Bipod Attachment

Does anyone know if the Saber Tactical 34mm tube clamp would work on the Taipan Veteran Standard, or would you better off screwing a pic rail to the stock?

I'm pretty sure it will overlap the rotating dust cover, which would be messy. Personally, I don't like attaching anything to an air cylinder. I put a short pic rail on the forend, easy job and very solid.

As with most things Saber Tactical, that thing looks awesome.

That said, I have a pic rail. Pre-drilled then screwed.

The air tubes on my Veteran Shorties are 36mm.

I'm pretty sure all vet air tubes are the same dia.



If you decide to mount a pic rail I'd recommend this method.

Not that you have to mill your stock and inlet an Anschutz rail like I did.

Just saying you can use a threaded aluminum plate to screw into.

The T nuts give the same metal-to-metal connection, might be easier to install.

Thanks guys, looks like pic rail is the way to go.

I’m thinking magpul, 5-slot. You can get it in aluminum or polymer.

Magpul 3 slot works well too.

Screwed a PICITINY rail onto fore stock. Allows many items to use the rail, Bi pods included.
