Hey everyone I own a taipan veteran long in .22 and am wondering if anyone has tried slugs in their taipan? Is there a risk of damaging the barrel ?
any information would be appreciated.

I have a 22 cal veteran compact and have been shooting slugs out of it for more than a year after having seen others posting their results on AGN. Mine has been very accurate with the slugs. I’ve been using varmint knocker 22.5 gr slugs made by Dale, driggert on AGN and sold on eBay. My veteran has been accurate with these slugs on squirrels out to 100 yards. Have used the slugs on any many squirrels, rabbits and turkeys.

Does your Taipan have the CZ or LW barrel?
Curious to hear from you and others if barrel brand matters in 22 for slugs.
mine has the CZ barrel
