Taipan Veteran .25 NSA Slugs test (Video)

Hi all,

I just want to share a video I just did of my Taipan Veteran shooting NSA 36gr at 30 and 40 yards. I used my shooting primo stick and I wasn't having a good solid position as you can see on the video. I'm planning to do another one as soon as I have the chance to go the range and test 50 and 100 yards.

I hope you like it:

Thanks for the video Orion but like scubajeeper said you will have better results with a steady support like sand bags or even a bipod, specially if you want to know how accurate are this expensive slugs shooting out your Taipan, have you tried the JSBs MK2s?

Hi Regarval,

I haven’t tried the MK2s yet, my main application is hunting, and yes, they are expensive, but they are best for what I need.

And I know about getting better results with a more steady support, today was a crazy day, it was sunny, and by the time I prepared everything started to pour, check on the part of the video I’m chrony the Taipan at full power how the rain was still there. I couldn’t get to the grass today. But even like that you see they hit where the crosshair is aiming. I didn’t see a singler flyer. I have flyers with JSB king, no sorting...

Good shooting. People love to dish out criticism but seldom receive it well, I think shooting off sticks is a great representation for how you shoot, since you hunt...not every shot in the field allows you to use a perfect rest...and slugs are silly to shoot bench rest with...so all in all great video. If others want to shoot slugs bench rest style let em, but you keep doing you bud!
