I never used them on my Taipan Veteran in 25 and was never even close to maxing out the scope dial.

Not unless you plan on going out to 200 yards with a scope with less than 100 MOA adjustment. A lot depends on your scope and planned shooting distance. Regardless, the 20 MOA rail will get you out pretty far.
