Still waiting for someone to make a video about it. I we know is from a couple of pics on the web, forward cocking and free floating barrel is all I know.

Aside from what scubajeeper already mentioned it looks like it now uses an external moderator vs a shroud as well as a larger capacity air tube…

Decided to add to my post. I have a Veteran and the thee things I like most about this airgun are:
1. Build quality/appearence
2. Accuracy
3. Trigger (many argue that it's the best out there in the marketplace).
I don't see that the new Veteran II is a leap better so I'll be keeping what I have for now.

I’m peeved at them they dropped what I consider the flagship and beginning of Taipan‘s in the states. Just where the heck is Shorty??

years ago I had a Mutant that I could not gey magazines for as they were discontinued. If I decide to get another Taipan I want to be sure of replacement parts. Upgrades are great as long as yesterdays model is still supported.

i have a .177 mutant for years had only 2mags and the sst. 3d printing now gives me 17 12shot mags a Life times worth.
