does anyone with a Veteran happen to know the dimension and TPI of the shroud cap? That measurement is not in the manual that comes with the gun

Appears to be M28x1.0 mm thread.

You could also ask Donny just to make sure as he turns adapters for the Taipans.

Just take it to a hardware store or fastener supplier and try a few bolts or thread gauges, should be easy.
