This .25 cal Taipan Slash Tactical semiauto airgun with the shorter 420mm barrel was one of the first ones sold in the US last month. I used to have a couple of Huben K1s and Leshiy2s but never owned a Taipan product before. I've sold my other airguns over the past year and rarely even shoot targets anymore. But airgun technology still fascinates me and the Slash is a major release in the semiauto airgun market.

I bought this Slash for no reason other than technical curiosity. I ran some velocity and fpe performance tests on it with 9 kinds of pellets and 6 kinds of slugs (29, 32 , 34, 42 & 46 grain) at low, medium and high regulator pressures. Those test results, along with some initial test results and pictures from a few other new owners of .22 cal Slash, are posted in a recent Taipan Slash tuning report discussion thread in the PCP Airgun forum.

I'll include the 6 opened boxes and one extra unopened tin of the slugs which I used for testing since I have no further use for them. The sale also includes 2 extra pellet magazines and a threaded barrel adapter. Plus the test target sent by Talon Tunes, a manual, spare O-rings, and a rubber Talon Tunes work mat, all shown in the attached pictures.

The regulator pressure gauge is currently installed. I can remove it for you and reinsert the plug if you want. But if you plan to check regulator pressures against pellet & slug velocities when you get the airgun it would be easier if I left it installed for you. One of the attached pictures also shows the regulator pressure adjustment tool mounted in the back plate of the regulator.

Nothing was changed on the airgun. I just ran a couple of dozen shots at different regulator pressures for each type of ammo to get the velocities and calculate the fpe.

My original cost was $2,400 for the Slash, $125 for the 2 extra pellet magazines, about $75 for threaded barrel end and another $100+ for the slugs, a total of about $2,700.

The asking sale price is $2,150 via PayPal and the price includes shipping CONUS.

If you have been considering whether to buy a 25 cal Slash Tactical then this is the best deal you're likely to see on one for quite a while. Especially since it already includes a nice variety of .249 diameter slugs from H&N, NSA and Griffin which most people wouldn't already own in that diameter. My curiosity about the Slash has been satisfied and I already got my money's worth of satisfaction by being one of the first to post power curve results for the shorter .25 version. It is a fine semi-auto airgun that will be a serious competitor in the semi-auto airgun market.

My Classifieds have often sold within an hour of my posting an ad. I don't really need the money but am still curious how long this one will take to sell. The first solid offer to buy gets it.

Thank you for reading through this long ad.
