Taipan mutant leaking at lower pressure

And my pup is now back home, holding steady.
Now if these 25mph winds would die down maybe I could shoot it!

Thank you Scott!

wimpanzee - Sounds like a quick 2 week turn around, correct? Did you do a basic reseal and rebuild on the entire system? I may have the same problem after about 4 years as it seems like this is about the timeframe and failure mode. thx - bradco

Nice!. Can you tell us where was the leak, and how it was repaired?

Looks like it was all the orings - they were all squished into triangle shapes. Most likely it was the one in the breech block for the valve (face?).

Scott replaced the tube and regulator seals.

Thanks. This seal seems to be my issue, which allows air to bleed out the lower grub setscrew which holds in the valve body. The valve is tight and sealed so no air out the barrel just dumping around the entire valve block assemby. I disassembled and lubed the oring on a trial and it stopped leaking after the reassembly. I don't have a repair o-ring kit yet so this is probably a temp fix. Thx.
