Taipan, cricket

Mi Cricket .25 produce 62fpe i es extremadamente precisa.

Buena suerte

I believe you will be happy with whichever of the two you choose. My Cricket .25 produces 62 fpe and is very accurate The trigger is very good, although the one in the Taipan is excellent too. The Taipan also has a system that prevents double loading.

I have a Taipen in .22 and the Cricket in .25. So I am not able to compare them exactly, so I can't have an opinion.

Good luck

I have a Taipan in .22 and the Cricket in .25. So I am not able to compare them exactly, But it gives me (enough if you will) TO HAVE an opinion.

I also have a Cricket in .25 and a Taipan Veteran long in .22.

They are both excellent guns but I prefer the Veteran mainly because it's a. 22 and very quiet. It really does all I need in an airgun but I like the .25 for the power if and when I need it. My Cricket is powertuned and I am currently experimenting with slugs in it.

Both brands are very reliable, very accurate and smooth operating with great triggers and get good shot counts. I like the skeleton stock (aesthetics) on my Cricket better than the Veterans blocky stock but they both fit good to the shoulder.

If I had to keep one it would be the Veteran.

In comparison to the Taipan, the Cricket is:

● 1.2" shorter

● the newer model finally has a safety switch (around the air tube, above the trigger), however its function I cannot discern from the photos

● 12cc less air, but at 300bar -- therefore the Cricket probably has more shots per fill (Taipan 250bar)!

● 0.3lbs heavier

● 14 shots per mag in .22 (Taipan only 10 shots in .22)

● I read that inserting the magazine into the gun is somehow complicated, non-intuitive

● Available in synthetic (makes it a tougher gun)

● (the Tapian has a 20moa rail)

Happy shopping!! 😊

=======================================
