Kabukicrack, is that the stock shroud/moderator that your DonnyFl Tanto is attached to? The two look like they're the same diameter.

Yes, thats the stock Shorty shroud & DonnyFL Tanto...very quiet combo...they are about the same diameter...very close to a perfect fit...

No complaints w/ night time accuracy w/ the .22 shorty shooting jsb 16g @ 812 fps @ 23 fpe. Very low fpe, so shot placement is key. Sorry, I dont have a sufficient night time video setup, but here are some pics...

I used to have a .22 Mutant and now have a .25 Veteran. They are both great guns and I don't have any complaints. I do love the anti double load on the Veteran, so easy to just decock the gun and recock when you're ready to shoot. No levers to worry about.
I've not had my .25 long at all but so far I'd say my mutant was a little more accurate (but that could just be me and the fact that the .25 jumps a little more).
Machining and bluing are top notch and the gun loads and cycles butter smooth. One thing I really like is the quality Wika gauge and not some sub par Chinese gauge stamped with a company logo (you make the airgun and let the gauge experts make the gauge lol). Such a small thing but it is how an expensive air rifle should be!

From what I understand the .22 cal is a chance barrel and the .25 is a lw barrel. Maybe the different manufactures could be the difference in accuracy? Just guessing here as the only thing I own is a .25 but just more what I’ve read.

The .22 all have CZ barrels now (and have for quite some time). The mystery barrels were only an issue on the earliest Mutant shorty. Do you mean chance barrel as in, hit or miss with accuracy or chance barrel who knows who made it lol? I'm guessing the difference in accuracy is down to my ability and limited time with the gun more than the barrel.
