I just stuck on some FUZZY side velcro which kept it low yet takes away the bare cold metal feel. Looks good too.

take papy yosh cheek piece and glue some leather on it 
makes a nicer feel,,,I got the idea from Zbroia Sapsan ,it comes with a leather cheek piece held by magnets
