Taipan .25 Vet - 48gr Slugs + Burris Scope = lots of fun

Lapped the LW poly barrel the other day, replaced the Burris 5-25x50 with a Burris XTR II 8-40x50 and oh boy what a difference.....inital testing, top group is 6 shots @ 91yrds - turret adjustment, bottom group is 20 shots at the same 91yrds _ one flyer, operator error. Griffin 48gr HP BTs @ 880-890fps. Reworked the baffles a bit, now all you can hear is the hammer hitting but even that's muffled. Loving this Taipan more all the time. This Burris scope with the DCH reticle is the bomb.....man, sure wish Griffin made a lighter BT slug (not the LDCs - tired those, tried AVS) so i could gain a few more fps. If anyone knows who makes a lighter BT, please do share.

Three scopes going on ebay here shortly - the 5-25 Burris and a couple different Sig scopes +a couple DonnyFL cans & a few hundred .25 AVS BT's the gun didn't care for.
