If you are shooting level at a 50 yard target and have a tailwind at 10 mph coming from your 6, would the tailwind force the pellet high or low?

Simply, a tailwind will increase the pellet velocity and result in target impact sooner and POI high.

I just plugged the data into Sterlok. Shows a very slight change in impact point. It does hit a little higher.

To get a "qualitative" feel for the effect of the tailwind - you can think of it as "my pellet will encounter as much air resistance as it would if it the muzzle velocity was reduced by the wind velocity". (since the velocity of the pellet is less relative to the air). This means less air resistance, hence more retained muzzle velocity throughout the flight, hence, slightly higher POI. Exactly how much, ballistic calculator will tell you.

Yes. That's correct

If you shoot out from under cover, as on many formal ranges, or your patio, bedroom window or such, then a 6:00 wind going over the roof can drive the pellet down, or up depending upon the nature of the turbulence and the distance you are shooting. ...

Tail wind pushes the pellet up. A head wind pushes the pellet down.
